Berry Araya (1997, Hengelo) is a figurative artist based in the Netherlands. He trained as an artist for three years at the art academy in Groningen. Working primarily in oil paint, he seeks the essence of a moment through his paintings. Not the story itself, but what remains afterward: a gaze, a pose, a silence, an atmosphere. Larger emotions often reveal themselves through the smallest human gestures.
